Guirado - Legacy is the perfect fusion of art, design, music, fashion and glamour curated to create a completely unique and thoughtful luxury experience that has attracted collaborations with designers, hotels, wellness studios and musicians worldwide.
Guirado Legacy is more than just art. It is a way of life that embodies the bohemian glamor or gypset (gypsy + jet set) lifestyle with the emphasis on Mediterranean culture, Californian bohemian glamour and a pinch of London rock n roll attitude!
Using the art of her father Juan Antonio Guirado’s ( known in Andalusia as El Maestro) paintings as inspiration, former model and British television personality Catalina Guirado originally started making textile designs from select works of art that transferred well to textiles as a luxury range of silk scarves to promote her fathers art ( See Designs to learn more). The idea developed when she was asked if she could design bespoke wallpaper for a restaurant in luxury boutique hotel Karma Sanctum London, that had a skull rock n roll theme. This soon grew into a new project seeing catalina sourcing textile printers and fabrics to make throw cushions, double sided bed throws, limited edition framed prints and a giant mural design for one of the suites. The resulting designs looked so good there was a huge VIP and celebrity attended opening to celebrate sponsored by Patron tequila and covered by the British press. Catalina curated the event to create the perfect ‘ Rock Chic’ vibe from the music, food, ambience and even having celebrity tattoo artist Dan Gold there tattooing guests!
