Catalina Guirado

From ‘It Girl’ model and TV Celebrity to Art Entrepreneur.

Catalina Guirado, a life & wellness coach, art estate director, and event producer, first captured the spotlight as a leading ‘It Girl’ fashion model in London during the vibrant 90s. She became a household name as a television host and a significant figure in the ‘Cool Britannia’ Britpop scene. In 2001, seeking a fresh start and a break from media scrutiny, Catalina moved to Los Angeles after signing with Universal Music Publishing. Embracing this new chapter, she transitioned behind the camera, developing her entrepreneurial skills as the creator and director of one of the early digital music streaming platforms in 2008, followed by a role as a creative consultant.

After the passing of her father, the internationally acclaimed Spanish painter Juan Antonio Guirado, in 2010, Catalina took the helm of his art estate and successfully rebranded it.

Today, she divides her time between Los Angeles and London, making regular television appearances, modeling with Nevs Models, and performing as a DJ with a residency at the Sanctum Soho Hotel, where she spins the best of 90s Indie and Britpop. Additionally, Catalina continues to explore her artistic passions as a textile designer.

"
‘I never wanted to do just one thing for the rest of my life, to follow one career path. To me that’s insanely boring, I have a passion for all the arts and luckily a little bit of talent in each too. I have always wanted to do a bit of everything creative I’m interested in and so I make it happen! I’m bohemian, it’s in my DNA.’
